Immerse yourself and experience the richness and depth of yoga. The theme of this immersion will be integrating yoga poses (asanas) with yoga breathing techniques (pranayama). The first part of each week will focus on asanas that prepare us for seated and supine pranayama by opening the hips, extending the spine, and expanding the rib cage. Friday mornings will mostly be a pranayama practice. Terry will also teach methods for regulating the breath while doing asanas that he recently learned from the Iyengars in India. For students with at least six months of Iyengar yoga experience. Class will not meet on Memorial Day.
