The practice of Pranayama (breath control), calms the mind, energizes the body and soothes the nervous system. In this series of classes, you will learn some of the basic pranayama techniques and ways of practicing. Between each of the sessions you will have ample time to practice each of the new techniques so you will be able to make steady progress over the six months of the course.
Class will meet on the second Saturday of each month: October 8, November 12, December 10, January 14, February 11, and March 10. Students who have already taken a pranayama series are welcome to drop in ($12 per class).

On this traditional day of feasting with family and friends, start with a lively practice that expresses gratitude for the bounty that yoga offers. This class promises to be an invigorating start to the day; appropriate for all levels.
